Among the most debated topics in the world today, international migration has become a major concern for both home countries and host countries. In fact, one day never ends without international Medias displaying tons of illegal migrants seeking to enter into Europe especially. For example, Media reports show people leaving from Africa and risking their lives crossing the Mediterranean to countries such as Italy, Greece, Spain or Malta. This situation actually creates socioeconomic tensions in host countries as their population becomes more and more reluctant to welcoming migrants. In some extreme cases, the situation has enhanced xenophobia, racism and slavery for the recent case of Libya. However, despite that situation migrants and aspiring migrants, from Africa, are not discouraged enough to emigrate to western countries in general and Europe in particular. Therefore, what are the benefits and problems of international migration? In other words, is international migration currently helping people from poor countries including Africa to achieve better living?
